City of Scottsdale permits handled Written workmanship warranty

A kitchen remodel built for Scottsdale homes

Scottsdale kitchens are not generic. A 1970s Old Town ranch, a 1990s tile-roof in McCormick Ranch, and a new build off Pinnacle Peak all have very different bones, very different finishes, and very different problems waiting behind the drywall. We have remodeled in every one of those neighborhoods, and we plan each project around what the house actually is, not what a stock template assumes.

Most of our Scottsdale clients are after the same three outcomes: a layout that finally works for how they cook and entertain, finishes that look like the house was built that way, and a contractor who does what they said they would do, on the timeline they quoted. That is the bar we hold ourselves to.

What is included in a DYS kitchen remodel

Every kitchen remodel we run includes the same backbone, regardless of budget. We do not subcontract our project management, and we do not hand off your job to a different crew halfway through.

  • Design and selections. We help you choose cabinets, counters, tile, hardware, lighting, and plumbing fixtures from suppliers who actually deliver on time in Arizona.
  • Demolition and protection. Floors, walls, and adjacent rooms are protected with plastic and ram board. Debris leaves the site daily.
  • Permits and inspections. We pull permits with the City of Scottsdale, schedule inspections, and submit drawings when required.
  • Rough trades. Electrical, plumbing, HVAC adjustments, and any framing changes for islands, peninsulas, or pass-throughs.
  • Cabinetry and counters. Semi-custom or fully custom cabinets, stone or quartz counters, fabrication, and templating.
  • Tile, paint, and trim. Backsplash, accent walls, baseboards, and any drywall repairs from the rough work.
  • Final walkthrough and warranty. A punch list, a clean walkthrough, and a written warranty.

Materials and finish levels

We work at three general finish levels in Scottsdale: an updated mid-range remodel that keeps the existing footprint, a designer-grade remodel with a moderate layout change and stone slab counters, and a fully custom remodel with hand-built cabinetry and high-end appliances. We will walk you through the trade-offs at each tier during your estimate so you know what your budget actually buys.

If you are unsure where to start, ask us to bring sample boards on the first visit. Seeing a quartz slab next to your existing flooring removes a lot of guesswork.

Timeline

A typical Scottsdale kitchen remodel runs six to ten weeks on site once cabinets arrive. Cabinet lead time is the single biggest variable; semi-custom lines run six to eight weeks, full custom can run twelve weeks or more. We order cabinets first thing so demolition and counter templating line up cleanly.

If you are working toward a specific date, holiday hosting, a new baby, a relocation, let us know during the estimate. We schedule around real-life deadlines, not the other way around.
